There Is No Single UFC Start Time
If you want the first fight on the broadcast, use early prelims at Sat, Oct 24, 10:00 AM EDT or prelims at Sat, Oct 24, 12:00 PM EDT. If you only care about the headliner and featured bouts, the main card anchor is Sat, Oct 24, 2:00 PM EDT.
Numbered Cards and Fight Nights Behave Differently
PPV cards put the spotlight on the main card, while Fight Nights spread the action across the prelims too — so the full ladder matters more than a single headline time.
Cards Outside North America Start Earlier for U.S. Fans
The UFC books international cards (Abu Dhabi, Europe, Australia, Asia) for local prime time, so the U.S. start can land in the morning or afternoon ET. Check the ladder for each event instead of assuming an evening start.
How Long a Full UFC Night Runs
From the first early-prelim bout to the main event, a full card usually takes five to six hours. Quick finishes shorten the night and five-round decisions stretch it, which is why UFCTime shows Sat, Oct 24, 10:00 AM EDT as the first window rather than one fixed time.
Use the Countdown for the Earliest Confirmed Window
UFCTime points the live countdown to the earliest confirmed card window so fans do not miss the first televised action while waiting for the main card.

Why do UFC start times feel confusing?

They are confusing because the UFC promotes one event while the broadcast is actually split across early prelims, prelims, and the main card — a single “start time” never tells the whole story.
